Finding, walking and mapping the route has been the focus of the Bundian Way Project for over 10 years, however there is much work required in formalising this route as a modern walking track open to the general public.

The Bundian Way has developed into an innovative tourism, cultural and shared history project, that not only promises economic benefits to the wider region, but is a valuable asset in creating employment opportunities for local Aboriginal people.

The Eden Local Aboriginal Land Council and its partners have worked tirelessly towards creating public infrastructure for the walk, however volunteers can only achieve so much.
